History of the Program: It was opened under the Department of Medical and Technical Services in the 2014-2015 Education Period in order to meet the medical documentation and medical secretary needs of all public and private health institutions. In the 2022-2023 academic year, the admission of students to the 2nd education program was terminated.

Purpose of the Program: To train qualified medical secretaries who have knowledge of medical terminology, document management, information and communication technologies needed by the field of medical documentation and secretarial work in health institutions and organizations, and who have the skills of cooperation, problem solving, self-direction and taking responsibility.

Content of the Training: Students are given theoretical lessons on speaking, listening, dressing, protocol rules, motivation to work, avoiding stress, working with a manager, effective diction, filing and archiving techniques, business writings and official correspondence. They give practice courses in the relevant units of the hospitals. In addition, students take computer and 10-finger writing techniques courses in order to use computers very well and to have knowledge about graphics, typesetting and design as a requirement of their profession.

Post-Graduation Work Areas: Our graduates receive the titles of "Health Technician" and "Medical Secretary". In addition to medical units such as clinics, polyclinics, laboratories, operating rooms, and emergency services of private and public health institutions, they also work in administrative units such as health board, patient admission, patient consultant, patient files archive.

Program Admission Requirements: Students are admitted to the program according to their TYT score.
