History of the Program: I. formal education in 2002-2003 academic year and II. formal education programs were opened in 2013-2014.

Purpose of the Program: To train qualified radiology technicians who have the knowledge and skills to obtain images with medical imaging devices such as conventional and digital x-ray, fluoroscopy, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, PET-CT and ultrasonography, to make films and images ready for use, to control and maintain devices and equipment by using ionizing and nonionizing radiation, preparing the patient for examination for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Content of Education: In the first and second semesters, mainly vocational theoretical courses, in the third and fourth semesters, in-class applications are carried out. Students practice in various units of Radiology Department of hospitals (X-ray, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Vascular and nonvascular interventional radiology).

Working Areas After Graduation: Radiology Technicians can work in units such as conventional X-ray, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Vascular Angio, Nonvascular Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiotherapy departments of public and private hospitals; private hospitals, private imaging centers and private practices.

Program Admission Requirements: Students are admitted to the program according to TYT score.
